In ancient times, men and women believed that the future was entirely in the hands of the Gods.

They believed that the outcomes of their boldest ventures could neither be predicted nor controlled, except perhaps through appeal to the almighty. This fear of the unknown, and the unknowable, had a paralyzing effect on many areas of commerce and invention. In many respects the modern world began when we were first able to make predictions about the future and to 'manage' it. 

In 1996, when Joe Piche formed this company, he was building a company that would be dedicated to finding ways to manage the risk of employing new technologies, specifically in the specialty materials business. That is, Joe's company would help customers and clients to successfully employ the latest high performance materials with a minimum of risk.
