Orolia would like to take this opportunity to provide customers with a Preventative Maintenance addition to your firmware package to provide greater insight into the health of your appliance.

Their SecureSync 1200 and NetClock 9400 line of products have an internal compact flash (CF) card which handles the day to day logging of critical operations within your appliance. As more and more operations occur and logging functions increase, CF cards can wear-out over time and require a replacement to maintain their logging capabilities.

Orolia has designed a “hot patch” Health Check which can be installed on your unit without effecting the version of code you are running and without requiring a hardware reboot. This addition will then provide you with a status of your CF card if it is healthy or needs to be replaced.

They encourage all our customers to install this patch to gain better insight into their equipment and what actions should be taken and scheduled accordingly to ensure consistent run time and proper operation.
